Education and Training

Choice Teachers is currently working with a school in Slough, seeking a talented and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team for a long-term or permanent position starting in September.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and record students’ progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior staff
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities

We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Experience in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
  • Track record of supporting student progress and attainment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding
