We're Looking For

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Strong knowledge of art techniques, history, and contemporary practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all ages and abilities.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic talents and appreciate the value of art in their lives.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring all materials and equipment are used responsibly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive art curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to the arts.
